Eglise de St Louis, City of Brest, France

Whilst working for the city of Brest on the restoration of the church of St Martin we were asked to carry out some repairs on the church of St Louis. This church was built after the war and is very large and tall. The pieces that were broken although quite large in size were nor very detailed, due to the style of the artwork. However, they were very high up. The view from the ten-story high scaffold tower was stunning. Some of the pieces only took a half hour to insert, before the scaffold had to be dismantled and moved to the next bay!
