About Atelier Mackenzie

Neil MacKenzie was born in Middlesbrough, England. After training at Cleveland College of Art and Design he moved to the island of Jersey, in the Channel Islands.
       In 1986 he set up his own studio creating and restoring Stained glass windows as well as continuing his painting in oils.
He has produced paintings that have been featured on sets of Postage Stamps for the island of Jersey.
       His painting "Flowers in a vase", won the J J. FOX International, Open Art Competition and his large dramatic Painting of “The RED ARROWS , flying over Elizabeth Castle”, to celebrate their 60th anniversary, is on permanent display at Jersey Airport.
      Many paintings and murals are in private collections . The pair of murals of Cupid and the three Graces, each measuring over 5 meters long, adorn the Dining room at Millbrook Manor on Jersey, CI.
      In 2010, Neil exhibited 17 paintings at the Salon de L’art Contemporain , at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
      He also exhibited 14 paintings at the Tour Eiffel, Pontrieux in 2020.
