Chapel of Saint Yves, Saint Clet, France
In 1996 Neil acquired with his new home a lovely little chapel that was dedicated to the local Saint Yves. The chapel was in overall very good condition, with statues and altar etc. How ever the old window frames were in bad condition and the small clear glass panes were broken. As part of a re-decoration program, Neil created three new windows. Saint Yves to match a statue of him which is in the chapel, St Anne, who is the Patron Sainte of Brittany, and the Bon Berger (Good shepherd) to compliment an image of him in the cast iron Altar railing. The windows are painted and enamelled in a very traditional manner. The Green leaves design in the background was used to link it to the very green setting of the countryside in which the chapel is located.
