Eglise de Quemper-Guezennec. 22260 France.

This window was part of our first large restoration project in France. We were charged with the restoration repair and maintenance of all the windows in the church. How ever, one window had so much damage caused by vandalism that there was only one or two pieces of glass that were not broken. There were many large gaps where the broken glass was completely missing. In addition to this, the original pieces had not been fired at a sufficiently high enough temperature and over the years the grisaille paint had disappeared.

As this window was part of a set of windows all by the same artist, and he had used the same models for the figures. It was decided to re-create the window as new using the lead outline, and information gathered from the other windows.
